Captain Nikola is a seasoned maritime professional with a wealth of experience spanning over three decades. Born in Croatia in 1969, he began his nautical career in 1989, though it was briefly interrupted by five years of military service during the 1990s and subsequent work in the logistics industry in Germany. However, Nikola’s deep-rooted passion for the sea led him to return to yachting in 2007, where he resumed his role as a yacht skipper.
Since then, Nikola has captained a variety of prestigious vessels, including Ferretti motor yachts, luxury crewed sailing catamarans, and has held permanent captain positions on Maiora and Tecnomar 27m luxury motor yachts. Currently, he is at the helm of the luxury motor yacht MALUHIA, where his extensive skills in yacht operation, logistics, and crew coordination are put to good use, ensuring a seamless and exceptional experience for guests and crew alike.
Nikola is well-regarded for his exceptional organizational abilities and his talent in managing both yacht operations and crew dynamics. His background in logistics and administration has further honed his capacity to coordinate teams effectively and efficiently. Fluent in Croatian, German, and English, (plus basic Italian) Nikola is adept at working with multicultural teams, fostering a positive and harmonious atmosphere on board.

In his free time, Nikola enjoys diving, swimming, and playing darts, passions that allow him to unwind and stay active.

Above all, Nikola’s leadership is defined by a strong team spirit and the ability to adapt to any situation, making him an invaluable captain aboard MALUHIA.

Her background serving in prestigious Michelin-starred restaurants has refined her ability to deliver exceptional service in fast-paced settings, ensuring every guest receives an unparalleled experience. Now aboard MALUHIA, Gabriela applies her expertise in hospitality to provide seamless, personalized service while adapting effortlessly to the demands of life at sea.

With a firm belief in teamwork, Gabriela fosters a collaborative atmosphere among her fellow crew members, ensuring that each voyage runs smoothly and successfully.
