He has been at sea for the last 15 years, firstly as an Apprentice Office, then building up his way to Chief Officer, and since 2014 as Captain on luxury yachts of 40m+. Captain Kostas has been building extensive knowledge and experience and holds a true passion and enthusiasm, is highly organized, trustworthy, and is meticulous in fulfilling any requirement, task, or duty to reach the maximum level possible. His strong team onboard LOANA creates a memorable experience for his guests. The primary focus is the safety of his guests and crew, and this combined with his commitment and seamanship skills, ensures a safe and enjoyable cruise for all.

Petros was born in Greece and graduated from Greek Merchant Marine Academy as Chief Engineer. He has worked on board merchant vessels for many years, gaining experience and knowledge before joining the yachting industry. Petros is in charge of the overall management of the Engineering department and maintenance of all safety and critical equipment onboard. His 20+ years experience mechanical and engineering knowledge, combined with his energetic personality ensure that all of equipment, systems, tenders and toys are running smoothly. His experience and ability will make your time onboard both safe and enjoyable!

Chief Stewardess Maria is a dedicated and detail-oriented professional who has been part of the yachting industry since 2018, with experience on both private and charter yachts. She holds a diploma in Hospitality & Tourism Management from the Hellenic Ministry of Tourism and is certified in G.U.E.S.T. 1, Food Safety & Hygiene Level 2, and the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines. Maria has worked aboard a range of yachts including M/Y Vera, M/Y Dragon, M/Y Mamma Mia, and M/Y Option B, steadily building her expertise in guest service, housekeeping, table settings, and wine service. A former professional swimmer, she brings a disciplined, committed approach to her role and deeply respects the lifestyle and standards of the yachting world. Fluent in Greek and English, Maria leads the interior team on M/Y Loana with professionalism, grace, and a strong sense of responsibility, ensuring guests enjoy a warm and refined onboard experience.

Efi is a skilled and detail-oriented stewardess with extensive experience aboard luxury motor yachts ranging from 38 to 45 meters. She is proficient in interior upkeep, guest service, silver service, and bartending, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for all onboard. With a strong ability to adapt to fast-paced environments, she efficiently coordinates with the galley for meal service, maintains high standards of cleanliness, and assists with lines and fenders when needed. Her background in fitness and hospitality has strengthened her organizational skills and attention to detail. Professional, proactive, and service-focused, Efi contributes to a welcoming and well-managed yacht environment, ensuring exceptional comfort for guests.

Antonis, born in Greece, is a responsible and hardworking individual known for his approachable and friendly nature. Before his maritime career, he completed rigorous military training with the NCO Hellenic Army Amphibious Raid Battalion ‘Z’ and the NATO Maritime Interdiction Operational Training Centre in Chania, Greece, along with the Sabalauski Air Assault School Training Course. Antonis spent four years as a seasonal lifeguard and has been familiar with optimist sailing boats from a young age. He holds a PADI Divemaster certificate, a combat swimmer diploma, and a speed boat license, and he is also a skilled motorcycle mechanic with a keen interest in water sports. Committed to safety, teamwork, and continuous self-improvement, Antonis ensures everything runs smoothly onboard and is always ready to assist. In his free time, he loves traveling.
