Captain George Kaloupakis is a highly experienced maritime professional with over 35 years of experience in the yachting and commercial marine industries. With an extensive background as both Captain and yacht maintenance specialist, he combines exceptional seamanship with strong technical expertise, ensuring the safe, efficient, and smooth operation of every vessel under his command.
Beginning his career aboard professional vessels before progressing into yacht maintenance and command, Captain George has captained a wide range of private and commercial yachts, including ARGO, AB, JULY, ALBATROS, LOUTCIGNOLO, LADY L, PELESET, and several Princess yachts. His broad operational experience has taken him across the Greek seas, where he has earned a reputation for professionalism, reliability, and outstanding vessel management.
In addition to his command experience, Captain George spent several years specializing in yacht maintenance, with expertise in electrical and mechanical systems. This technical knowledge allows him to proactively oversee vessel performance, coordinate maintenance efficiently, and ensure the yacht is always maintained to the highest standards.
Calm, approachable, and highly organized, Captain George is committed to delivering exceptional charter experiences while fostering a positive and professional atmosphere onboard. With extensive experience in both Mediterranean and international cuisine, he consistently delights guests with exquisite meals and artistic food presentations. Having worked at some of the most prestigious restaurants in Athens and in Les Restaurants de la Tour Eiffel-Allain Ducasse, Michalis brings an exceptional level of expertise to M/Y LAZY DAYS. His extensive background in culinary arts includes directing and supervising kitchen staff to ensure the highest standards of food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation. Michalis excels under pressure, making him an invaluable asset to the team, especially during busy service periods. Michalis’ dedication to perfection in every dish, paired with his passion for food, ensures that guests aboard M/Y LAZY DAYS will enjoy a world-class gastronomic experience.

Name: Stavroula Mpozionelou
Position: Stewardess

Stavroula is a warm, attentive, and service-oriented Stewardess with previous experience onboard private yachts and a genuine passion for the sea, travel, and hospitality. Her friendly personality, strong communication skills, and guest-focused approach allow her to create a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere onboard. Her yachting experience includes two summer seasons, during which she was responsible for welcoming and assisting guests, meal preparation, interior cleanliness, and ensuring their comfort throughout their time onboard. This hands-on experience has given her a well-rounded understanding of the daily demands of yacht hospitality and the importance of maintaining high standards of presentation and service. Stavroula also holds an Offshore Sailing Diploma from the Porto Rafti Sailing Club, further strengthening her familiarity with the marine environment and her confidence at sea. In addition, her studies in tourism and her previous administrative experience have developed her organizational abilities, professionalism, and strong problem-solving skills. Calm, reliable, and naturally approachable, Stavroula enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in anticipating guests' needs. Her enthusiasm for yachting, positive attitude, and commitment to providing thoughtful service make her a valuable addition to the crew onboard LAZY DAYS.

Position: Deckhand

Dionysios is a resilient and hardworking deckhand with solid experience on both private yachts and high-end day cruise operations. As a valued member of the team onboard LAZY DAYS, he brings strong technical knowledge, hands-on maintenance expertise, and a positive, solution-oriented attitude to every task.
With proven experience in mooring and anchoring operations, tender driving, bridge duties, and detailed exterior maintenance, Dionysios ensures that the yacht is maintained to the highest standards at all times. His background also includes serving as a Jet Ski Instructor, where he was responsible for watersports supervision, equipment maintenance, and guest safety, an asset that enhances the onboard experience for charter guests.
Prior to his yachting career, Dionysios worked in commercial shipping operations, gaining valuable organizational skills, operational discipline, and the ability to perform efficiently under pressure. His strong work ethic, physical stamina, and team spirit make him a dependable and motivated member of the deck department.
