DHONI STELLA I & II are Maldivian luxury dhonies, each with just two air conditioned cabin-suites, catering for 2-6 passengers and available for private charter only. Maldives enthusiasts will experience a really unique holiday, sailing the archipelago with their family or with another couple aboard a genuine and charming traditional boat. DHONI STELLA yachts are wonderful combinations of classic and modern style. Built by using mainly local wood, the finishing touches bring you back to a time of simplicity and elegance, nostalgic of the antique boats on which these cruisers were modeled; though the modern comforts of holiday luxury have certainly not been forgotten. Setting ourselves apart from the other cruisers available in the archipelago, where passengers share the boat with other tourists and follow a pre-planned program, DHONI STELLA guests are free to design their own cruise. You choose the destinations and activities that suit you, including: scuba diving, surfing, snorkeling, fishing, islands hopping and more.

The dining experience aboard DHONI STELLA allows you to enjoy a terrace on the sea in the most comfortable setting.

DHONI STELLA's kitchen boasts some of the best Asian-Fusion dishes on the waters of the Maldives.

Breakfast and lunch are served half-buffet style, while dinner is a 3-course meal as per your choice of dishes on the daily menu.

From tropical fruits and Maldivian delicacies, to your own catch-of-the-day's perfectly grilled on a beach BBQ, DHONI STELLA's chef prepare local cuisine with an Asian flair or the most traditional Western and Italian dishes to your taste.

Water, soft drinks, tea and coffee are included in the charter fare and a selection of wine and beer is available for purchase.

Captain Abdulla Hameed

Hameed (nick name Barey) is a long term experienced captain and divemaster. He knows all the diving and fishing spots of the archipelago above and under the sea surface. He joined the Dhonis Stella in 2008 and since then he is the captain of Stella 2. Before to join the Dhonis Stella he has been the skipper of private yachts and other larger live-a-boards in the Maldives.

Private full charter per week (up to 6 passengers in 2 cabins): Low Season (May26-Oct26): US$ 7,748.00 High Season (Nov25-Apr26): US$ 12,252.00 FESTIVE SUPPLEMENT: US$ 386 per night (between 20-Dec and 03-Jan). CHARTER RATES INCLUDE: Airport pick up/drop off, crew (including captain and chef); fuel (up to 3 hrs average per day of navigation – US$ 100 for additional hour); motorised tender/dinghy, WIFI Internet, beach BBQ, private dive/snorkelling guide, fishing, land excursions, service charge (10%), and VAT (17%). CHARTER RATES DO NOT INCLUDE: Mandatory meals and soft drink package: US$ 109.40 per passenger per night (complimentary for children 0-11y), mandatory Green Tax: US$12 per passenger per night, alcoholic drinks, scuba diving, and yacht delivery or re-delivery other than to Male airport. SPECIAL OFFER: CRUISE 10 PAY 9 Book 10-night charter and the 10th night would be complimentary. SPECIAL OFFER: CRUISE 7, PAY 6 Book a weekly charter between 3rd January and 14th March 2026 and the 7th night would be complimentary. EARLY BIRD - SPECIAL OFFER: CRUISE 7, PAY 6 Book a weekly charter between 1 May and 31st October 2026 and the 7th night would be complimentary.
