Want to thank you, and highly commend the crew, for an absolutely fantastic charter the past week. The trip was above and beyond our wildest expectations and left all five of us with memories beyond compare. The organization of every detail was flawless and a testament to your organization and the crew of the Aldebaran. We will definitely be back in 2014 for William to learn SCUBA and would like to be kept appraised of the progress of Oli and Naomi wherever they are. Will highly recommend Main Sail Charters to all who might have an interest in this specialized but most memorable adventure. Thanks for the map which we look forward to adding more dots to with your help.

We wanted to thank you again for the wonderful hospitality you showed us while aboard the exquisitely unique and sturdy Tall Ship Talofa. It’s not just the warm hospitality and incredible attention to our every need and want that made our “leisure adventure” on Talofa so wonderful; I’m sure that hospitable and accommodating charters abound in the virgin islands. It is Talofa, the tall ship herself, that made our experience so magical! What an amazing privilege it was to have vacationed on such a beautiful, historic, and one-of-a-kind sailing
vessel! Being in a class of her own, Talofa herself is what makes all the difference between being just another sailing charter and being a very, very special experience! While under way, seeing the occasional sailing vessels pass by for a little closer look, a smile, and a friendly wave – and more than once, giving thumbs up to the lovely tall ship that WE were lucky enough to be aboard – only further solidified this sentiment.
In addition to the knowledgeable captain and crew who always made us feel safe and well-cared for (okay, spoiled) while aboard Talofa, all accommodations were comfortable and welcoming. Super-comfy beds in the well-ventilated staterooms made for a great night’s rest after a day of fun and leisure. Waking to a perfectly-brewed latte and then a fresh fruit platter while awaiting a full breakfast (if we so desired) in the ample shade and lovely morning breezes on decks was a great start to each day. We enjoyed our meals almost exclusively at
the large table centered in the generously shaded deck area – in fact we did most all of our onboard lounging there. Riding along in the bow nets with my young son while under sail will always be a treasured memory – one we hope to repeat. Being chauffeured to and from gorgeous island beaches, charming restaurants, and historic sites in the smooth, well-powered dinghy made trips ashore – or just to explore shorelines – most enjoyable.
As we said our final goodbyes and made our final trip back to shore, the only thing besides fond memories on any of our minds was, “When can we come back?”.

You are an extraordinary couple and your attention to our needs helped make our 13 days exceed out wildest expectatons. I think the Breanker is really nice and I think that you and captain Kristian is really nice too. You are a really good cook. My favorite was the scramble eggs and make your own sandwich. I love everything about the BVI. Denmark sounds good too I want to go there. I also like the language. Love Stephanie 7 years old
You were so nice to me and my family. The food is great I love everything. The boat is beautiful and playing cards is fun. The Cornish hen was my favorite and key lime pie and cheese cake, I can’t decide. It has been one of the best experiences of my life staying on the BREANKER with you. I love every part about it! I love the food, the boat, and especially all the beaches and islands we sailed to. I’ve really never lived on a boat before so this was definitely an awesome and different experience.
Thank you so much for sailing us to all the islands. Thank you for all the amazing breakfasts, delicious lunches and the most amazing delicious dinners I have ever had. Thanks for letting us have the conch’s we found. Thanks for the water sports. I loved tubing. Water skiing was awesome, the paddle board and kayak was lots of fun. I will never forget how to say: Thank you – Good morning – Good day – hello – Good night in Danish.
Captain Kristian and Marianne – Thank you for taking such great care of our family on our vacation to the BVI. I was very apprehensive to come on this trip because I get seasick and didn’t want to be ill for a week! I have never been on a long sailing trip before, or ever on a catamaran, and I must say….it was awesome! The island, beaches, water sports, snorkeling, sailing and food were beyond my expectations. I can’t even pick a favorite! I’ve never snorkeled before and I can hardly believe how peaceful and beautiful it is. I will be sure to do it again when I get a chance. Living on a boat for a week sounded scary, but now after doing it I realize that it is the best way to travel! Marianne and sous chef Kristian – our kids say it best….they loved all the food you made….I am in awe as how you can create such wonderful dishes every day in your tiny galley kitchen….truly amazing…plus you got our kids to try different food that they wood have never tried…and they liked it!! Our evening conversations were a treat. We enjoyed learning about your island Moen in Denmark. Your adventures as charter captains were fun to listen to as well. Great drinks, great food, great weather and great company…what more can we say… Thank you.
Dear captain Kristian and Ms. Marianne. It is with humble pleasure that I express to you the gratitude I have for providing my family with what amounts to the greatest adventure of their lives to date. In particular, you have provided our children with an experience unequalled to any other trip we’ve been on. I am constantly vigilant for opportunities to teach the children about the ways of the world. This trip has been a slice of life that they will never forget. I believe in the philosophy that to whom such is given, much is expected. I further believe that you both have contributed to the molding of these young minds to be brave, seek adventure and to not fear new things. I hope that you have given them an appreciation of the sea and a sense of what adventures of previous generations held in their heart to encourage then to explore and learn. Thank you for a wonderful adventure.

There are very few times in my life when I find it difficult to say thank you in an appropriate way… When we
started talking about this trip last March I knew we were taking a chance of blowing a lot of money if things did not work out, OR, on the other side investing a lot of money on our most precious commodity – our family. We bet on the latter and took a leap of faith to create a trip for our family that would make memories for us to hold onto for the rest of our lives… AND… what happened? God shined on us like he has so very many times before and this entire experience has turned out to be the very most treasured and valued time we have ever spent together as a family. These moments, these memories, these pictures we will forever have in our hearts and in our minds cannot be put to a price – they are priceless and if I would’ve DREAMT in my wildest dreams that we would have met the two of you and that this trip would’ve meant this much to each of us, I would have paid ten times over.
You are genuinely amazing people and you have astounded and blessed us every day we have been here. You are empathetic, caring, patient, kind, compassionate, and have a zest that doesn’t compare. This was not luck, it was ALL prayers answered in the most incredible way ever. We thank you both so very, very, very much for everything you have done for each and every one of us, but mostly for your friendship. We are so greatly blessed to know you and be a guest of beautiful Quest. May God continue to shine on you and you on others. There is no gratuity that would be adequate of our thanks.
