Stephanie - the food was absolutely delicious you really truly could be a professional chef! Your marine life expertise was incredible. I can't thank you enough for pushing thru even when you were injured. Brian you are the man. I admire you for the marine life, boat, and napkin folding knowledge you have. Thank you for your patience, persistance always making sure we had a good time. You both are incredible people and my family will continue to talk about this vacation for years to come. Chris & Kelly --Justin & I had the trip of our lives with you on the Verna Breeze. It was such a wonderful way to start married life! I truly do think the rain was a blessing from the Virgin Island gods. Some favorite memories were spotting Lobster for Chris and learning to clean Conch! Kelly you are a very culinary inspiration. Smit Family aboard Solitude -- December 2009

We came home two days ago from the Virgin Islands after the best family holiday we have ever had. On Sunday afternoon Solitude dropped us off right at the dock in front of Bolongo Bay Resort in St. Thomas where we spent the last night, and as we watched them sail away, we were all sad that it was over.

Glenn and Christina really went out of their way to ensure that we enjoy our sailing holiday. Glenn is an excellent captain, cool, calm, collected and cautious. At the same time he is fun to be with, kind, friendly and pleasant. My two sons bombarded him with questions about sailing, the, islands, etc, etc. He listened to them, and
answered all their questions patiently. We felt so safe, and we could see that Glenn knows exactly what he's doing when it comes to handling that boat. He certainly is very professional and very competent. He taught our boys a few lessons on sailing which they really enjoyed. He and Christina also work well together when she needs
to help him anchor, moor or change the sails. It was a pleasure to watch them. The food that came out of that kitchen was just so good every time. Christina worked very hard to provide these delicious
meals, snacks and appetizers out of that kitchen. She obviously takes great pride in what she does, and believes in making everything from scratch with fresh ingredients. How she does it, and where she keeps all the stuff , is a mystery to us. We just sat back and enjoyed being spoiled by them, gracious hosts that they
were.

This was our first sailing experience ever. We consider ourselves really fortunate and privileged to have sailed on Solitude. It was a wonderful, relaxing holiday for us and our three adult children. They took us to Jost van Dyke, Virgin Gorda, Tortola, Norman Island and St. John. All the little restaurants and bars were so
quaint and cute, and we even got to meet the formidable Foxy himself.

There you have it. There is no negative about this thing, and we can recommend Solitude and her crew to anybody without any reservation. Thanks for your involvement to make this possible. it was a dream holiday, the best you can imagine. We will certainly do this again. -- Annemarie

The vacation aboard Texas Star was absolutely wonderful.............I can't recommend both the boat and the staff more highly. Everything went according to plan with no hitch whatsoever. We all had a great time. Marco is the consummate captain, and Robyn a very sweet person and a good cook, to boot. The rest of the crew made us all feel most welcome. All in all a lovely holiday.

Thank you too, for the map of the Virgin Islands celebrating our 50th Anniversary, which Marco kindly printed with our actual route. I'm thinking of having it framed!!

We had a great time. The trip was well worth it. Don and Bridget were fabulous hosts. We were pampered throughout the trip. Bridget's cooking was excellent. Sailing with Captain Don felt extremely safe. They regaled us with numerous stories of their 27 years of boating. They did whatever we asked, specifically went to any location that was safe and feasible and seemingly never tired of taking my three kids waterskiing or tubing. We were given the impression that any reasonable request would be granted. They took turns escorting my parents snorkeling and on island hikes. I would readily go on another charter with them again.

Our family had the most fabulous vacation sailing around the British Virgin Islands aboard the luxurious catamaran, Yes Dear. The sailboat was immaculate, spacious and had all the amenities we wanted for a stress-free vacation. Captain Brad and first mate Kerry worked around the clock to assure that we all enjoyed ourselves. We all felt at ease and ocmpletely safe with Brad's smooth sailing skills. Kerry made 3 incredibly delicious meals every day and there were always plenty of snacks and drinks available - which is what teenagers want! She even made a cake for our 11 year old son's birthday! We stayed for 6 days and it was the best family vacation we ever had. Every day was a new activity. We went snorkeling, scuba diving, wake boarding and tubing. The snorkeling around Norman Island was awesome! We fished, went to beautiful beaches and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets each night. When we wanted quiet down time, we played card games and read. This vacation was an experience that our family of 8 will treasure. We are hoping to go back soon!

I went on this lovely boat around St. Martin and St Barts area with 3 other women. We had THE BEST TIME ! I must comment on the food as I am used to 5 star dining experiences and this was all that and more. For instance, we would have beautiful lobster thin crust pizza with a side salad for lunch one day, sushi and sake the next; freshest fruit among other things for breakfast ,and creative dishes for dinner like fresh fish with salsas or steaks on the grill with lovely red wine. The boat was very condusive to exercise as you could do yoga on the top deck overlooking the carribbean waters then dive off for a swim . The Captain and his wife were 5 star hostess !!!!

This crew is awesome and the boat is fantastic for couples, families or a group of friends like us. Pat and Mat know their way around St. Maarten and St. Barts. The food is fantastic and we enjoyed the scenery at every stop. At night, if we weren't going ashore we watched movies or played scrabble. Watch out...Pat is a dynamo! We can not wait to return to tour more islands aboard NSS Pattam.

We had a fantastic time! We loved sailing, snorkeling, the islands, the cuisine and the company! We had a bit of a challenge with a few days of strong rain, but we learned a new card game and watched some funny movies.

We will return to the islands because Hanalei Bay offered our family an experience we'll always remember! Bryan, Kara and Kids

We both thoroughly enjoyed everything; the food, sailing, stories, family interaction and the wonderful company. The three birthday parties were a nice touch as well as the beautiful table settings.
